No, when you remove the macro, your recording is still present among the page attachments (it is also important to keep this in mind when you want to remove the recording intentionally). When you add the macro again, it automatically lists all recognized recordings among the page attachments.

Select the recording you want to add and click on the ‘Insert’ button.
