It is likely that these users initially chose 'Hide my email' when signing in with Apple. This means Atlassian only receives an anonymous email address that looks like this: <code> Task Reminder can view this email address, but Apple will not forward emails from a third party to the user, so these users will not receive emails unless they change this setting.

Action users can take

On your IOS device/iPhone

  1. Open the Settings app and click on your Apple ID profile

  2. Select Password and security

  3. Select Apple ID logins

  4. Select Atlassian

  5. Click Stop using Apple ID

Or on the web

  1. Open

  2. Select Security

  3. Select Manage. You'll find this under Apps and Websites using Apple ID

  4. Select Atlassian

  5. Click Stop using Apple ID

The next time the user logs in, they will have the option to share their email.
