Welcome to Task Reminder for Confluence!
Task Reminder is a Confluence app that sends scheduled email or slack reminders about your open tasks. That’s right, no more forgetting to complete Confluence tasks even if they are scattered throughout the pages and spaces that you use.
Task Reminder organizes your open tasks in a neat message that is sent in a configured interval using a scheduled job, so you can view all of your tasks in a single message on a schedule that works for you.
Flexible Configuration for Your Workflow
Confluence administrators can customize the following settings to fit team needs:

Delivery Schedule: Set the day and time for reminders

Target Recipients: Choose specific users and groups, with optional opt-out settings

Task Types to Include:

Overdue tasks

Tasks expiring soon (customizable time frame)

Tasks expiring later (customizable time frame)

Tasks without a due date

Opt-Out
Some users rely on Task Reminder to ensure they never miss a deadline, while others may already have a well-organized workflow and prefer not to receive additional notifications.
For these users, Task Reminder offers a opt-out option.

Administrators can enable or disable the opt-out option in the Task Reminder Settings page.

Users (if opt-out is allowed) can disable reminder emails for themselves in their User Settings with a simple toggle.
With this feature, every user has control over their reminders - those who need them can stay informed, while those who prefer fewer notifications can manage their inbox more effectively.
