Cloud Migration Guide
We recommend to manually migrate the settings for the blog posts on the dashboard. The Lively Blog Posts macros, unfortunately do not get migrated automatically, and have to be replaced manually in Cloud. The global “Blogs” page, custom categories and the “Dashboard” and “Overview” macros are not available in Cloud.
1. Prerequisites

2. Prepare for Migration
To migrate your Confluence spaces and content to Cloud, please refer to Atlassian’s official Confluence Cloud Migration Guide: Confluence Cloud Migration Guide by Atlassian
Ensure both your Data Center and Cloud instances are running the latest compatible versions of Lively Blogs.
3. Migrate Confluence Content
Lively Blogs macros and blog posts and pages are part of your Confluence content and will be migrated with your spaces.
4. Install Lively Blogs on Cloud

After migration, review your Lively Blogs configuration in Cloud:

Edit each page, click on the macro, and check or adjust the settings (such as filters, layout, and visibility).
Add new Lively Blogs macros as needed using the slash command (
/Lively Blogs) or the macro browser.

Verify that all blog posts, macros, and Lively Blogs features are working as expected in your Cloud instance.
