Link Management 2026-02-26

We're excited to bring you a feature-packed update for Link Management! This release introduces broken link detection, a new global settings page, and improved reliability.

New Features

Broken Link Detection (Beta)

Link Management can now check your Confluence links and tell you which ones are broken. Both external links (pointing to websites outside Confluence) and internal links (pointing to other Confluence pages) are verified automatically. You'll see the status of each link directly in the space settings view, making it easy to spot and fix issues before your readers run into dead ends.

This feature is currently available as a beta feature. You can enable it from the new global settings page whenever you're ready to try it out.

Global Settings Page

A new global settings page is now available under Confluence Administration > Link Management. From here, site admins can manage beta features and control which capabilities are active on their site.

Bug Fixes

Link Checker Connectivity

We fixed an issue where the link checker could not be reached in some cases, causing link checks to fail silently. Link checks now work reliably across all environments.

Maintenance

  • Dependencies updated to latest versions.
