🗓️ Release date:
This release of PocketQuery adds a business question to queries.
New Features
-
Business Question: Every query can now record the business question it answers, in your own words. It is shown while editing a query, so the intent of a query is visible next to its name, and it is part of the query, so it travels with it when you export and import queries.
Improvements
-
The Edit Query screen now leads with the business question, followed by name and datasource.
-
Help text no longer sits permanently under every field; it is available on demand instead.
-
The SQL editor opens with room for a real statement and can be expanded further.
-
Converter and Template moved into a Result configuration section, so the statement stays the focus.
-
A disabled Save button now explains what is missing, even when the cause is on another tab.
-
The sidebar keeps only what is specific to the query; guidance sits next to the fields it belongs to.
-
The query list shows the business question underneath each query name.
Security
-
Updated an internal dependency that our security checks flagged.
